I went to campus this evening for MBA orientation. I gave them my song-and-dance about resources, how to reach me, etc. Today was the first day of the summer quarter, so while students were on campus, the place was pretty empty.
Walking across campus, I saw a guy in a business suit, sitting on the edge of a fountain. His feet were in the water and his dress shoes were sitting next to him. It was an image that really struck me, so much so that I almost took a picture of him. But that can get a little creepy.
A few minutes later I saw the same guy, shoes in hand, walking barefoot through the grass.
Seeing this just made me happy inside.
