And I won. I got the letter today that said my trip to the ER was medically necessary and would be covered. Woo! Makes me want to send the review guy a thank you card. So, my bill will go from almost $3000 to a few hundred. That is a lot easier to handle.
But let me tell you, the people who answer phones at my insurance company? I swear they hire idiots just so you won't call back. There were a couple of people who were very helpful and if they didn't know what the answer was, they would ask. But the others? To use a bad cliche, they didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground.
