Four years ago I headed south from Wisconsin to Mississippi. What do I remember? Spending way too long driving through Illinois.

Added: Four years ago today (December 2), I arrived in Mississippi. I almost got myself killed trying to merge from the interstate onto a state highway--I quickly learned that people in Mississippi don't know how to merge.

And four years? That's the longest I have lived in one town since graduating from college.
